Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop feature graphic showing colorful matching bubbles

Bubble Shooter has been the same simple pleasure for two decades: aim, fire, watch a cluster of orbs pop and cascade. Apps like Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop keep that formula alive on Android, usually behind an install and a pile of permissions you did not ask for. We wanted the loop without any of that, so we built Nova Pop, a stripped-down aim-and-match game that runs right here on this page. It is free, loads instantly, and needs no install and no signup.

Play Nova Pop now

Drag anywhere on the board to aim, then let go to fire. Tap to start, and it plays best with sound on.

How to play

Drag your finger or mouse from the cannon to set the angle, then release to fire a colored orb. On a keyboard, the arrow keys adjust the angle and Space or Enter fires. Land three or more orbs of the same color together and they pop, and anything left dangling with no connection to the ceiling falls away with them. The ceiling creeps down as you play, so the goal is simple: keep popping faster than it closes in.

Every day starts from a fresh board seeded from the date, so everyone playing sees the same starting cluster that day. Your best run and your daily streak are saved on your device, and nothing leaves your browser.

How it compares to Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop

We kept the part that makes the genre work: the drag, the release, the satisfying pop when three colors line up, and the small panic as the ceiling gets close. Rounds are short, restarts are instant, and a near-miss run makes you want to try the same board again immediately.

We deliberately dropped everything a full mobile release adds around that core loop. There is no level map, no power-ups, no lives system, no ads between rounds, and no account. Nova Pop uses its own original color palette and cannon design, not the original app’s art, because this is our own game built around the same idea, not a copy of it.

So when should you get the real thing? Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop offers hundreds of designed levels, boosters, and a progression structure that a single browser page cannot match. If you want a long campaign with new level layouts every day for weeks, it is worth the install. If you want two minutes of clean aim-and-pop right now, the version above is already open.

Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop is free to download on Android and sticks close to the genre’s roots: hundreds of levels, simple controls, and no learning curve. It is the closest official experience to the pick-up-and-play feel we aimed for above.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Bubble Shooter in a browser?

The official Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop app ships as an Android install with no browser version. Nova Pop, embedded above, is our own browser-based take on the same aim-and-match idea. It runs on any modern phone or desktop browser with nothing to install.

Is this the real Bubble Shooter?

No. Nova Pop is an original game we built, inspired by the classic aim-and-pop mechanic that Bubble Shooter and games like it made popular. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the publisher of Bubble Shooter - Classic Pop in any way. If you want the official app, the download link above goes to Google Play.

Is it free?

Yes, completely. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, and no data collection. Your best score and streak are stored locally on your device and never leave your browser.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, the game makes zero network requests, so it keeps running if your connection drops mid-session. To start it fresh while offline you would still need the page cached by your browser.

What is the daily board?

Each day the starting cluster of bubbles is generated from that day’s date, so it is the same board for everyone who plays on that day. Come back tomorrow for a new layout and a chance to extend your streak.
